Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a kind of high-intensity source of broadband coherent light These properties allow IPL to have wide application for ablative resurfacing therapy, which is based on the theory of selective absorption of human skin tissue and photo thermolysis light sources.
 Meanwhile, IPL photo rejuvenation technology is more efficient and offer patients less downtime than conventional therapies for aged and photo damaged skin.

IPL uses special filters that block unwanted wavelengths. The filters can be changed to “cut off” the shorter wavelengths. The appropriate filter will depend on the depth of the intended target

IPL systems work on the same principles as lasers in that light energy is absorbed into particular target cells with colour (chromophores) in the skin having a wavelength range of 500 nm- at 1200 nm. 
The light energy is converted to heat energy, which causes a specific result to the target area.
 IPL systems are different to lasers in that they deliver many wavelengths (or colours) in each pulse of light instead of just one wavelength. Most IPL systems use filters to refine the energy output for the treatment of certain areas.
 This enhances penetration without using excessive energy levels and enables targetting of specific chromophores (these are skin components that absorb light).

IPL therapy is considered a non-ablative resurfacing technique, which means that it targets the lower layers of skin (dermis) without affecting the top layers of skin (epidermis). The advantage of IPL therapy is its minimal downtime – a patient can often have the procedure done in their lunch break and return to work immediately afterwards.

The treatment itself works much like a laser, but instead of having just one wavelength of light, the machine produces a spectrum of light made up of a range of wavelengths. By selecting an appropiate filter, the trained skin care professional selects the wavelength range to target the damaged area caused by skin aging and sun exposure.

Some fine lines, superficial wrinkles and texture of the skin may be addressed.

Multifunction machines can include the following functions:

High-frequency. Using a Tesla pulse current, does not produce chemical changes. Rather it can supply heat that has an antiseptic affect for the skin. This current stimulates circulation, oxygenates the skin and increases cell metabolism. It is an excellent germicidal, which is especially important when treating acne.

Galvanic. The two primary features of the galvanic current are to facilitate deep-pore cleansing and to penetrate product into the skin. The use of positive or negative currents, with the client holding the opposite probe at the same time, facilitates iontophoresis or anaphoresis.

Magnifying lamp. This loupe aids the esthetician by magnifying the skin. With the use of a fluorescent light, finer details of the skin can be seen.

Steamer. Most steamers come with an ozone switch. Steam helps to soften sebum and other debris on the skin while stimulating circulation. When using the ozone switch, there is an antiseptic effect that benefits acne and combination skin.

Spray/vacuum The esthetician can use toners or other formulas in this function, offering a gentle application of the product to the skin. This misting of the skin is very soothing and calming. The vacuum is used to suction dirt and impurities from the skin, and it simultaneously works to reduce the appearance of creases and fine lines. It also works to reduce keloids.

Rotary brush. An excellent cleansing accessory, the rotary brush lightly exfoliates the skin and loosens other debris. It stimulates circulation and is soft enough to thoroughly cleanse highly sensitive skin.

Wood’s lamp. This filtered black light must be used in complete darkness. It is a very effective tool for a detailed analysis of the skin.

Ultrasonic. Ultrasonic wave produces energy. When acting on the body, it stimulates the body’s cells, producing a tiny massage that expands the space in which the cells exist. It causes the movement of cytoplasm, the rotation of mitochondria, the vibration of cell nucleus, and stimulates and expands the cell membrane. Therefore, it can improve local blood and lymph circulation, increase the penetration of serums to the cells, and improve the metabolism and regeneration of body cells. Always use water or a water-based product with this machine.

Sterilize Box for tools.

Ultrasonic scrubber. Removes all the impurities, dirty and dead cell over the skin, cleans the pores with a vibrating waves of the spatula

Hot towel cabbie. These cabinets provide hot, wet towels to be used during facials.

Frekator or spot remover. Is a high-frequency pointed needlelike instrument used to remove skin tags and small moles.

Microcurrent. Is excellent for lifting the skin.

Hot & Cold hammer. Used to open or close pores, refresh skin, after o before treatments

Microdermabration. Provides a non-surgical skin refinish procedure, by using diamond peeling heads to abrade or rub off the top skin layer, then vacuuming out the particles along with any dirt and dead skin. This procedure removes skin debris, imperfections, blemishes, wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation on the skin

Dermedic, Emolient Linum - krem do rak

Dziś mój drugi i ostatni dzień w ciągu praktyk, niestety już jutro z samego rana wracam do miejscowości morskiej, w której w SPA mam praktyki. Szybko leci i już nie długo będzie koniec!

Kilka miesięcy temu byłam na wycieczce w Szczecinie z klasą, trochę nam nie wyszyły plany i dlatego cały dzień planowany na Teatr poświęciliśmy na zakupy w Galaxy :) wpadłam do SuperPharm i kupiłam parę rzeczy, post z tymi nowościami tutaj.

Widziałam na wielu blogach, że ta marka jest dość dobra i ceny ma trochę wysokie, a że krem był dość dużej pojemności i za cenę 6,99 z 19,99 to pomyślałam dlaczego jego by nie wybrać a akurat idzie zima.
Opakowanie jest bardzo miękkie więc przy końcówce użytkowania bardzo łatwo możemy go wycisnąć, zatrzaska na klik działa bez zarzutów.
Konsystencja jest bardzo gęsta, bardzo dobrze się rozsmarowuje. Wchłania się natychmiastowo po rozsmarowaniu, trzeba szybko go rozsmarowywać tak szybko się wchłania. Dotąd to mój najszybciej wchłaniający się krem do rąk! :)
Zapach bardzo delikatny, świeży. Pojemność 100 g jak na krem bardzo duża pojemność. Starczył mi na około 6 miesięcy przy codziennym użytkowaniu, czasami zdradzałam go z innym jak mi się znudził ;p

Jest przeznaczony do skóry suchej a nawet atopowej, ja mam suchą i bardzo dobrze sobie z nią radził. Zawsze po jego użyciu była miękka, gładka i czuć było to nawilżenie, żadnej suchości. Nie pozostawia żadnej lepkiej warstwy ani milimetra. Po każdym mycia rąk bardzo dobrze się sprawdza. Dla wielu osób mógłby być on nie wystarczający, ale dla mnie był w sam raz, bo nie lubię tłuściochów i czekać aż się wchłonie, jestem strasznie niecierpliwa :)

Zawsze tego kremu używałam z przyjemnością, z wszystkich kremów, które używałam jest on moim największym ulubieńcem, szkoda tylko, że nie mogę go kupić nigdzie w moim mieście i ta cena jest trochę wysoka :)
